Forza Horizon 6 Series 2 Goes Live With 10 Reward Cars and a New Car Meet

Forza Horizon 6 is taking players on a drive through automotive history with its second major Festival Playlist series.

The Forza Horizon 6 Series 2 update, titled Horizon Decades, is now live with 10 reward cars, a temporary community Car Meet, new profile badges and the return of The Trial. The four-week event began on June 18 and will remain available until July 16, 2026.

Rather than focusing on a single manufacturer or type of racing, the new series celebrates memorable vehicles from different decades. Players can earn classic hatchbacks, rare supercars, performance trucks and modern track-focused machines by completing seasonal Festival Playlist activities.

Horizon Decades Adds a New Car Meet

One of the biggest additions in the Horizon Decades update is a temporary Evolving World Car Meet at the Hokubu Time Attack Circuit.

Players can drive directly to the location within the shared world, park their favourite cars and display custom liveries alongside other members of the community. The area also includes dedicated parking spaces and Horizon Decades branding.

The Car Meet is not limited to showing off vehicles. Players can use it to meet other drivers, form a Convoy and then enter races or explore the open world together.

As an Evolving World location, the Car Meet is tied to the current Festival Playlist and may no longer be available after Series 2 ends.

All 10 Forza Horizon 6 Series 2 Reward Cars

The Forza Horizon 6 reward cars are divided between overall Series rewards and four weekly seasons. Players must collect Festival Playlist points before each seasonal deadline to unlock them.

Overall Series rewards

  • 1993 Porsche 911 Turbo S Leichtbau: Earn 80 points between June 18 and July 16
  • 2018 Lotus Exige Cup 430: Earn 160 points between June 18 and July 16

Summer rewards: June 18 to June 25

  • 1989 Volkswagen Rallye Golf: Earn 20 points
  • 1988 Lamborghini Countach LP5000 QV: Earn 40 points

Autumn rewards: June 25 to July 2

  • 1998 TVR Cerbera Speed 12: Earn 20 points
  • 1993 Schuppan 962CR: Earn 40 points

Winter rewards: July 2 to July 9

  • 2006 Dodge Ram SRT-10: Earn 20 points
  • 2003 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning: Earn 40 points

Spring rewards: July 9 to July 16

  • 2017 Mercedes-AMG GT R: Earn 20 points
  • 2017 Saleen S7 LM: Earn 40 points

Players who want every vehicle will need to complete challenges regularly. Weekly reward cars are available only during their respective seasons, while the Porsche and Lotus can be earned throughout the entire Series.

Playground Games has confirmed that three vehicles included in Series 2 are new to the Horizon franchise.

The Trial Returns to the Festival Playlist

The Trial has returned as part of the Forza Horizon 6 Series 2 update.

This cooperative event places six human players against a team of highly skilled Drivatar opponents. Teams compete in a best-of-three racing series, with the final result based on the combined performance of all drivers.

Players must work together rather than simply trying to finish first individually. Blocking opposing drivers and helping teammates move up the order can be just as important as winning a race.

However, The Trial is not available to everyone immediately. Access is limited to Horizon Legends who have earned the Gold Wristband through the main campaign.

Three New Badges Can Be Unlocked

Horizon Decades also introduces three profile badges linked to different activities.

  • Festival Enjoyer: Complete every type of Festival Playlist activity
  • Time Traveler: Play Forza Horizon 6 during the Horizon Decades series
  • Egg-cellent!: Park at the new Car Meet while driving the 2006 Dodge Ram SRT-10

The Time Traveler badge should be the easiest to obtain because players only need to enter the game during Series 2. The other badges require more specific participation.

The Egg-cellent! badge cannot be completed until the Dodge Ram SRT-10 becomes available during the Winter season on July 2.

Four Cars Join the Car Pass

Car Pass owners will receive four additional vehicles during the Horizon Decades Festival Playlist. One car will be released each week.

The Series 2 Car Pass schedule includes:

  • 2023 Audi R8 Coupé V10 GT RWD: June 18
  • 1974 Mazda #123 Mad Mike 808 Wagon “FURSTY”: June 25
  • 1998 Nissan Skyline GT-R 40th Anniversary: July 2
  • 2023 Toyota GR Corolla: July 9

These cars are separate from the 10 Festival Playlist reward vehicles. Players need access to the Forza Horizon 6 Car Pass to add them to their garages.

The selection covers several different driving styles, from the rear-wheel-drive Audi R8 to Mad Mike’s heavily modified rotary-powered drift wagon.

Series History Rewards Introduced

Playground Games has also introduced Series History Rewards, a new system based on the total Festival Playlist points a player earns over time.

The first reward is the 1972 Mazda Cosmo 110S Series II, which requires 500 lifetime Playlist points. Unlike seasonal rewards, progress towards this car carries across multiple Festival Playlist series.

The earliest opportunity to reach the required total will arrive during Series 3, provided a player has already collected enough points throughout Series 1 and Series 2.

This gives regular players a longer-term reason to complete Playlist activities even after unlocking the main weekly cars.

What Comes After Horizon Decades?

Series 2 will remain active until July 16. Playground Games has already confirmed that Series 3 will be called Italian Exotics.

The next update will focus on Italian performance cars and introduce additional events, vehicles, a new badge and a collectible item.

For now, Horizon Decades offers a broad mix of content for collectors and competitive players. The rare reward cars provide a reason to complete weekly challenges, while the new Car Meet creates a more social space for the community.

Players hoping to collect all 10 reward cars should pay close attention to the weekly schedule, as missed seasonal vehicles may not return immediately after the Series ends.
