AI+ Nova 2 Neo specifications

The Nova 2 Neo features a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 600 nits of brightness. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and supports expandable storage of up to 2TB through a microSD card.

For photography, the phone has a 48MP Sony IMX582 rear camera and an 8MP front camera.

It packs a 6000mAh battery with 18W charging. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio and an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.

AI+ Nova 2 Pro specifications

The Nova 2 Pro offers a larger 6.9-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 800 nits of brightness. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset.

Its rear camera setup includes a 48MP Sony IMX582 main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. A 13MP camera is available on the front.

The Pro model also includes customisable LED notification lights on the rear panel. These lights can respond to incoming calls and notifications.

It is powered by a 6000mAh battery with faster 33W charging. Additional features include stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.4, an IP65 rating and expandable storage of up to 2TB.

Is the Nova 2 Pro suitable for gaming?

The 144Hz FHD+ display, stereo speakers and large battery make the Nova 2 Pro the more suitable option for gaming between the two models.

However, a 144Hz screen does not guarantee that every game will run at 144 frames per second. Actual gaming performance will depend on game support, chipset performance, cooling and software optimisation.

Both phones run NxtQuantum OS based on Android 16. Buyers looking for a lower-priced 5G phone may prefer the Nova 2 Neo, while the Pro offers the stronger display, cameras and charging setup.
